Our Community Guidelines
Welcome to Nurtune!
To ensure a harmonious, joyful experience for everyone, please familiarize yourself with our family guide. These shared agreements help us maintain a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for all of our little musicians to grow.
Above all, we ask that you bring three things to every single session:
✨ Come Ready to Have Fun: Leave the distractions at the door! This is your dedicated time to play, sing, and share pure joy with your little one.
🧠 Be Open-Minded: Every child explores music differently—some sit and absorb, while others need to move. We embrace every unique learning style!
💛 Keep it Non-Judgmental: Nurtune is a strict "no-judgment zone" for caregivers. We are all navigating parenthood together, and we are here to support, not compare.
Refund Policy and Health & Safety
We understand that plans can change, especially with little ones!
Due to the limited capacity and planning involved in our pop-up classes, we do not offer same-day refunds or cancellations.
However, we’re happy to support you with the following option:
✨ Make-Up Class Option
If you’re unable to attend your scheduled class, you may request a make-up class credit to be used toward a future Nurtune class (subject to availability).
Please note:
Make-up requests must be submitted within 24 hours of your missed class
Credits are valid for 30 days from the original class date
Make-up classes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
Availability for make-up classes is not guaranteed and is based on open spots
Thank you for understanding and supporting our small, community-focused program 💛
Same-Day Refund Policy
Because our pop-up classes have limited spots and require advance planning, same-day refunds are not available.
We understand that things come up with little ones, so we’re happy to offer a make-up class credit when possible.
Make-up class credits may be used toward a future Nurtune class and are subject to availability. Requests must be made within 24 hours of the missed class. Credits are valid for 30 days from the original class date, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Common Questions and FAQs
What are the most important rules or guidelines that families need to know when they sign up for your music classes?
1
1. 🧼 Sick Child Policy
To maintain a safe and healthy space for all our families, please keep your child home if they have experienced a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a contagious rash within the last 24 hours, or if they have a persistent, heavy cough or runny nose.
Note: Instructors reserve the right to ask a family to leave a session if a child appears visibly ill to protect our community.
2. 🤝 Caregiver Participation
For all of our class tiers, a parent or guardian is required to be present and actively engaged throughout the entire session. This isn't just a drop-off—it's a shared experience designed to build a beautiful musical bond between you and your little one!
3. 🕒 Cancellation & Refund Policy
Advance Notice: A full refund (minus non-refundable processing fees) is available if requested at least 7 days before our 9 week session start date. No refunds are issued within 7 days of the first class.
Pop-Ins: Because spots are highly limited, same-day refunds are not available.
Make-Up Credits: If you miss a class due to sudden illness or an emergency, please notify us at least 2 hours before class. We offer one (1) make-up credit per session, valid for 30 days and subject to open spot availability.
What should families do if they need to cancel a class, miss a session, or want a refund?

Refund & cancellation policy
Our classes are carefully planned and tiered based on enrollment numbers.
Deadline: A full refund (minus any non-refundable processing fees) is available if requested at least 7 days before the 9 week session start date.
Late cancellations: Within 7 days of the first class, no refunds will be issued. However, credit toward a future session may be granted at the discretion of the founder in extreme circumstances.
Refer to sick child policy for missing a session due to illness.
Are parents or guardians required to stay with their children during classes?

For our "Lil Roots" to "Orchard" tiers, a parent or guardian is required to be present and actively participate with their child throughout the entire class session. This helps foster a stronger bond and encourages musical engagement.

More Common Questions
-
In the rare event that Nurtune must cancel a class due to instructor illness, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify registered families as soon as possible via email and text. We will offer a make-up class or a credit for a future session, at our discretion.
-
We love to share the joy of music! Occasionally, we may take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media). If you prefer that your child not be photographed or videoed, please inform us in writing at the time of registration. We will always respect your preferences.
-
We value your child's musical growth as much as we value your privacy. We will never sell your data, and we only share information with third-party tools (like our payment processor) that are necessary to run our classes. Your child's identity is protected here at Nurtune. You can refer to our privacy policy page to learn more.

At Nurtune, we believe that early childhood music should be an experience, not just a class. We intentionally bridge the gap between joyful play and structural learning, ensuring that tiny ears are built on a true foundation of pitch, rhythm, and scale from the very start.
Unlike traditional high-stimulation environments, our sessions are designed with a calm, low-stimulation aesthetic that allows children to focus, explore real instruments hands-on, and absorb musical concepts naturally. Most importantly, we center every class around the caregiver-child bond—giving you a dedicated, non-judgmental space to slow down, play, sing, and grow right alongside your little one.
-
We know that leaving the house with little ones can sometimes feel overwhelming. At Nurtune, we have a strict no-judgment and open-door policy. Parenthood is beautiful but messy, and our studio is a safe haven from the pressure of the outside world.
If your toddler is having a rough morning, needs to move around the room instead of sitting in the circle, or takes a little longer to warm up—you are safe here. If you are running late, your door is always open; just slide right into the circle whenever you arrive. We don’t expect perfect behavior from children, and we don’t expect perfection from caregivers. Come exactly as you are, and let’s navigate the joy of music together.

Absolutely! We love welcoming families together. Here is how our sibling guidelines work for our pop-in sessions:
👶 Infants (0–5 Months): Tiny musicians aged 0–5 months can attend completely FREE when accompanying an older, enrolled sibling at a private session pop-in class. Our Pop Up classes in partner locations will required a pass but we offer a special sibling discount for those cases.
👧 Older Siblings Ages 6+: Older siblings are always welcome to join the fun! Please note that they will still require a completed safety waiver on file before the session begins.
🎟️ Sibling Discounts: We offer special discounted tier pricing for families booking multiple children in the same session. You can request your sibling discount code by texting or calling us before checkout!
